What is the J-Pop Room?
In 1999, A-Kon was the first anime convention to feature a J-Pop Room.
Since then, the presence of Japanese music programming at anime conventions
has exploded.
This site aims to follow the North American convention music scene as a
resource to music fans and anime fans alike.
While the staff of this site volunteers for some of these conventions, this
site is not intended to represent any one convention. The staff will strive
to cover each convention to the best of their abilities.
Why J-"Pop"?
This site does not focus on any music genres aside from all of the music
being Japanese. J-Pop is an accepted term for mainstream Japanese music
and is the most familiar term for many people.
